About

Our food deserves better software.

ChopTime is built in Ghana, for Ghanaian kitchens, by people who eat this food every day.

Why ChopTime exists

Ask a global meal planning app to plan your week and it hands you a stranger's diet. Quinoa on Tuesday. Something with kale on Thursday. It has never heard of waakye, and it never will.

So the software that was supposed to make daily cooking easier quietly skipped a continent, and millions of households run the hardest logistics problem of their day, every day, from memory.

Built here, not adapted

ChopTime did not start as something else and get translated. It started with jollof, waakye, banku and tilapia, kontomire and ampesi, and the question a Ghanaian household actually asks at the end of a long day.

Real recipes, real measures

A bundle of kontomire. Three cups of fermented corn dough. Thirty minutes turning banku over the fire. Our recipes are written the way this food is cooked, not converted into grams and guesswork.

The whole loop, not one piece

Planning without shopping leaves you holding a list. Delivery without planning solves tonight and nothing after it. ChopTime closes the loop: plan, cook, shop, plan again.

Ghanaian food is not a cuisine to be discovered. It is dinner.

What we are building next

Today ChopTime plans your meals, writes your recipes and brings you the ingredients. Next comes the finished dish itself, cooked and sent to you, from the same plan. After that, more of Ghana, then more of the continent. The rule does not change: the food comes first and the software follows it.
